• PSG Hospitals is pleased to announce the expansion of its dialysis unit in Coimbatore city. It has been inaugurated by the Managing Trustee of PSG Institutions Shri G RANGASWAMY on 16-4-2008 in the presence of Dr JS Bhuvaneswaran MD.DM., (Consultant Cardiologist), Co-ordinator, PSG Superspecialty Hospitals, Dr G VENU MD.,DM., Consultant Nephrologist and others.
• It has got one of the best dialysis units in Coimbatore and has become the largest in this region with 21 state-of-the-art dialysis machines and 1 CRRT machine.
Department Highlights
• Around 1 lakh dialysis have been performed since 1998. Currently, 1000 dialysis are performed in a month. It is the most economical in the zone.
• The Department of Nephrology has a full time D.M qualified consultants with a team of doctors, well trained dialysis technicians and staff nurses. Our team offers round the clock service to the patients.
• Renal biopsies are performed routinely.
• Kidney transplants are routinely performed with a low economic burden on the patients. We have excellent infrastructure in operation theatres and post operative wards.
• Our centre is recognized under Prime Minister’s Relief fund.
• Department is well equipped to handle all emergencies. Emergency dialysis can be done 24/7
• Our Out-patient department works on all weekdays.
