Department of urology is functioning at PSG Hospitals since 1997 & now it is a well established department with an associate professor & assistant professor. We have our regular outpatient services on all weekdays except Sunday & emergency urology services are available round the clock.
We have a dedicated well equipped operation theatre , with C – arm machine & radio lucent tables to aid urological procedures.
We have near complete armamentorium of urological endoscopes & energy sources . Shortly we will acquire flexible ureteroscopy & laser, very thin (4.5fr) ureterscopes to complete our backup.
We perform all major urological procedures including endoscopic removal ureteric stones, percutaneous nephrolithotomy, transurethral resection of prostate & bladder tumor, stricture urethra surgeries, radical surgeries for renal / bladder/ prostate / penile / testicular cancers and all pediatric urological procedures.
We have excellent renal transplant team & we have performed more than 100 successful transplants with nil mortality & negligible morbidity. We offer packages for renal transplants at affordable cost.
We have well equipped & adequately staffed post operative ward to take care of our operated patients & a dedicated kidney transplant unit (KTU) for post transplant patients.
We have excellent supportive speciality departments to take care of the comorbid conditions for a complete patient care, well equipped radiology department as well as diagnostic services for accurate diagnosis.
