plasmapheresis and arterial access.
• Peripheral arterial cannulation (adult and paediatric).
• Nasotracheal and Endotracheal intubations (Adult, paediatric and neonatal).
• Management of difficult airway, Fibre optic intubations.
• Management of ventilated patients as well as management of ventilators and its
accessories.
• Basic cardiac monitoring using trans-esophageal and transthoracic echocardiography
of patients in neurosurgical and neuro-intensive care settings
• Ultrasound imaging skills for emergency and critical care.
• Percutaneous dilatational tracheostomy (Griggs and Blue Rhino) and proficiently
performs PDT in Neuro ICUs.
• Multi-modal monitoring of patients in Neuro ICU’s with transcranial Doppler, optic
nerve sheath diameter, pupillometiy, basic interpretation of raw EEG.
• Intraoperative neuromonitoring- evoked potentials (SSEP, MEP, BAEP, VEP, Cranial nerve
monitoring), ICP monitoring(TCD, ONSD, Pupillometry), Cerebral oxygenation monitoring
(NIRS, Jugular venous oximetry), Depth of anesthesia monitoring (BIS, PSI,Entropy)
• Management of patients with refractory status epilepticus, neuromuscular disorders,
SAH
• Acute stroke management- Anesthesia for endovascular therapy and intensive care
management in stroke unit
• Anesthesia for complex intracranial vascular surgeries, supratentorial and infratentorial
tumors, aneurysm clipping, excision of arteriovenous malformations, functional
neurosurgery like deep brain stimulation, epilepsy surgeries, spine surgeries, awake
craniotomies.
• Anesthesia for interventional radiological procedures like AVM embolization, aneurysm
coiling, dural AV fistula embolisation, spinal AVF/AVM, vertebroplasty, DSA
• Regional anesthesia including ultrasound guided and neuraxial blocks.
• Transportation of critically ill patients
