PSG Health Sciences Institutions Organizes Annual Research Day 2026

PSG Health Sciences Institutions successfully organized its Annual Research Day – 2026 at the PSG IMS&R Auditorium, Coimbatore, on Monday, April 27, 2026, at 10:30 AM. The event highlighted the institution’s commitment to advancing research, innovation, and academic excellence in healthcare. The program commenced with a prayer song, followed by the welcome address delivered by Dr. T. M. SubbaRao, Principal, PSG IMS&R, who emphasized the importance of research in shaping the future of healthcare. An overview of the institution’s research activities and achievements was presented by Dr. Sudha Ramalingam, Director – Research & Innovation, showcasing the growing research culture and impactful contributions made by PSG scholars. The event also included felicitation addresses by Dr. M. Ramanathan, Principal, PSG College of Pharmacy, and Dr. R. Jayadeepa, Principal, PSG College of Nursing, who appreciated the efforts of researchers and encouraged interdisciplinary collaboration. The highlight of the event was the Award Distribution Ceremony, which included: PSG PRIME Awards PSG Research Awards Best Poster Awards Dr. Ramalingam Sankaran Best Faculty Researcher Award The awards recognized outstanding contributions in research and innovation by faculty and students. The Chief Guest, Dr. Sanghamitra Pati, Additional Director General, Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), New Delhi, delivered the keynote address. She emphasized the critical role of translational research, public health innovation, and collaboration in addressing emerging healthcare challenges in India. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof. Ashraf Y, Vice Principal, PSG College of Physiotherapy, expressing gratitude to the chief guest, organizers, participants, and all contributors to the success of the event.
