PSG Hospitals Launches Cutting-Edge Lymphedema Care Clinic

PSG Hospitals, through its PSG Institute of Oncology in association with the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PMR), successfully launched the PSG Advanced Lymphedema Care Clinic on April 18, 2026. The launch marks a significant step towards providing specialized, comprehensive care for patients suffering from lymphedema, particularly cancer survivors requiring long-term rehabilitation and support. Following the inauguration, a one-day workshop titled “A Comprehensive Approach to Lymphedema: Prevention and Management Protocols” was conducted. The session was led by Mr. Nileshkumar Elangovan, Physiotherapist (ICMR-NIVCR), who shared valuable insights on early detection, preventive strategies, and advanced management techniques for lymphedema. The workshop witnessed active participation from healthcare professionals, physiotherapists, and students, fostering knowledge exchange and awareness on improving patient outcomes. With this initiative, PSG Hospitals continues its commitment to delivering advanced, patient-centered care and promoting awareness on rehabilitation and supportive oncology services.
