PSG Hospitals opens Advanced Paediatric Liver Clinic on Wednesdays

PSG Hospitals has opened an Advanced Paediatric Liver Clinic at the B Block Paediatric OPD on all Wednesdays. It will function from 9 am to 1 pm.  This was recently inaugurated by Dr. JS Bhuvaneswaran, Director, PSG Super Speciality Hospitals. Presently PSG Hospital has a dedicated paediatric liver disease unit. Liver related problems in children are treated in the best possible way with a team of doctors with specialist paediatric hepatologists and state-of-the-art facilities. The team of doctors will be exclusively be available for the check up and post diagnosis of kids undergoing any liver problem. As such Liver diseases can occur in children from birth to 18 years of age, and is not only an adult phenomenon. Liver-related diseases and disorders can be cured in 90% if diagnosed in the early stage and proper treatment is taken. The Chronic Liver diseases is a result of not diagnosing the issue early on and the liver damage over a long period of time and if proper treatment is done, the disease can be controlled.
